Tuesday, June 9, 2015, 2 pm at the San Francisco City Hall Board of Supervisors Chambers, the Board of Supervisors will be voting on the two competing ordinances about how the city regulates Airbnb and other short term rentals.
We need to be there to support Supervisor Campos’ version, which will actually hold hold companies like Airbnb accountable by having strong enforcement and prevents commercial Airbnbs from permanently turning housing into hotels.
The Mayor’s version will only worsen the problem, as it will make enforcement impossible. Given Ron Conway’s (major Airbnb investor) history of campaign cash given to Mayor Lee, how could we expect anything else?
We need to send a strong message to City Hall to stop allowing a $20 billion company to “share” our homes!
HOMES NOT HOTELS!
If you cannot make it to City Hall, email or call your Supervisor and tell them your name and address and that you want your Supervisor to support Campos’ version of the Airbnb amendment.
