Preston and Boudin Swinging Towards Winning

Both candidates that the San Francisco Tenants Union campaigned for are on a path to winning. Dean Preston’s run for District 5 Supervisor has come from behind in the absentee votes (which tend to be conservative) to ahead of Vallie Brown. The lead of less than 1 percent (around 200 votes) is too close to call as we wait for mail in ballots delivered by the day of the election, votes cast at City Hall, etc., but the trend is good for Preston and tenant rights!

Chesa Boudin’s campaign for District Attorney is currently slightly behind Suzy Loftus when ranked choice votes are counted, but again, the trend is favorable for Boudin, another solid tenant advocate.
