10 Day Warning Notice Before Eviction for Nonpayment Overruled
The San Francisco Apartment Association and Small Property Owners of San Francisco Institute as represented by Andrew Zacks sued the City and County of San Francisco, Case No.: CPF-22-517718, to overrule the San Francisco Rent Ordinance 18-22. San Francisco Rent Ordinance 18-22 would have required landlords to give tenants a 10 day warning with a chance to cure the problem before proceeding to an eviction for nonpayment. The ordinance was overruled and so the 10 day warning notice is not required for nonpayment.
