Legal Advice and Referral Clinics in February
Attorneys will give 30-minute consultations in housing/tenant questions, immigration, family law, personal injury, contracts, debt collection/bankruptcy, and some miscellaneous issues.
Hastings LARC is happening on Friday, Feb. 17, from 4 – 6 p.m.: Clients have the option to participate remotely or in-person. For in-person, clients can come to UC Hastings (specific location on flyer). Clients can also join LARC by zoom from a computer connected to the internet or phone call. Clients will be interviewed briefly, connected to an attorney immediately for a consultation, or given another referral. We will stop accepting clients at 5:30 pm. This is a walk-in clinic. Bayview LARC is happening on Friday, Feb. 24, from 3 – 6 p.m.: This clinic is completely in-person at the Bayview YMCA. Clients will be interviewed briefly, connected to an attorney for a consultation, or given another referral. We will stop accepting clients at 5:30 pm. This is a walk-in clinic. Please share the flyers in English, Spanish and Chinese with anyone who might benefit.
The Women’s Building Clinic is on Tuesday, Feb. 28, from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.: This clinic in the Mission is by appointment, and clients come in-person to have a 30 minute consultation in family, immigration, and housing law. We still have open appointment slots. To make an appointment, clients can call The Women’s Building at (415) 431-1180 from Monday through Friday 10am-4pm.
